"Rae" Rope Storage Basket

The Rae basket is designed as both a floor basket and a carrying basket. The handles make for a versatile basket that holds your knitting project, or allows you to carry what you need from one room to the next with ease. It also makes a great storage basket for nearly any room in your home. It measures approximately 11" across the base, and stands approximately 10" inches tall. 

The style of Coastal Craftwork baskets are influenced by our Scandinavian upbringing and fit well with Scandinavian decor, minimalist decor, rustic decor, coastal decor, boho decor, modern decor, farmhouse decor and more. These pieces also add to the "hygge" feel of any room.

This basket is made with a cotton/poly rope, with a 100% cotton outer sleeve (everything that you can see and touch on the basket) and a poly core for durability and longevity. The piece is coiled into a basket and shaped by hand as it is sewn. It can be spot cleaned and hand washed in cool to luke-warm soapy water, and left to air dry in a well ventilated space.

Rae is shown here in charcoal, but is also available in black, light gray, navy blue, teal, linen and natural off-white.

As is true of so many things that are hand made, there is no such thing as two identical pieces.  Although the measurements of your piece will be very close to those stated above, colors will vary slightly between pieces, as will natural variations in the rope itself.  This is all part of what make handmade items unique and charming.
